Blissful Weekend

I came home Thursday evening to a surprise box from the fiances grandparents. I was so excited because grams always gets me the best stuff from Victoria Secret.

Inside was a cute pink silk romper, a black tank that says "I'm the bride", and a few other things.



Which reminds that my birthday is coming up in 11 days!!

The rest of the weekend was low key, spent time with my sister and yesterday I possibly found heels for the wedding. More to come on that later...

Found some cute OPI colors at Ulta, I always get sucked in buying more.

Juice it up...

So the fiance has been wanting to buy a juicer for some time now, so yesterday it finally arrived in the mail.

If you knew my guy, you too would beg him not to buy it because he would be over it after a month.

We shall see how long it lasts...

He of course picked the nastiest drink to make for our 1st try!

Kale, Cucumber, Parsley, hibiscus leafs, blueberries, lemon, celery and apple. BARF.

So.... do any of you juice?? We need some better recipes!!

30 minutes...

You have probably seen this video posted on facebook, blogger, etc.

I probably saw it 4 different times before I took the time to watch it.

It was the quickest 30 minutes, yet so inspiring to watch.

Watching this will make you more aware of what is going on in our world.

I am so happy I know who Joseph Kony is.

Tuesday Things

I participated in a color swap with Morgan from Stars Stripes and a Military life.

She chose the color Sky Blue, so her package was full of all things blue! Go check out her blog.

I chose lavender and was so excited to get her package in the mail.

I can always use more lotion and anti bacterial soap!! Think ill take it to work!! 

I am enjoying my day off, going to go pick up my slip for my wedding dress and hit Marshall's since its next door. Maybe get a oil change. 

Yesterday I hit H&M and found a nice warm jacket for NY. Can't wait til our trip!!

While at the mall I had to get my favorite smoothie from Blenders!

 And lastly, homemade chili that my love made!

5.5 hours until im off work and free for two days!



How we enjoy the sun...

Frappy and I long for the afternoon time as the sun hits the living room perfectly.

Yesterday we layed on the couch cushions and I snapped this funny picture of us.

He cracks me up.

Last night I went to a teppan place for dinner with my sister and the fiance. So delish.

I know most of you are happy its Friday, but its my working weekend :(

Can you S-I-N-G?

I actually made it out past 9pm with a friend to a karoke bar a few days ago. It's always hard for me to get out of the house after 9, but I am usally glad once I am there.

We have a karoke bar inside a chinese resturant which is kind of a dive place, but its great for people watching!

I could never, no matter how much you paid me or how much I drank, you would NEVER see me up there. I am way to self consious for that!

There were lots of bad singers with a few good ones!

My grandma and aunt were here visiting from Canada and they sadly left yesterday. Look forward to their return trip in September :)

I am working some overtime tonight, can't wait to crawl into bed!
