Stresssssssssssed out

I am so tired and stressed out its ridiculous. I really just wanted to stay in bed today but I will be off work on Friday and didn't think it was best to be out two days. I have such a hard time "letting go" of things that are out of my control. I took my polygraph two weeks ago and I knew I passed but I have been waiting for a phone call letting me know if I was going to continue moving forward. I have been on pins and needles waiting and he finally called yesterday to let me know my psych appointment is set for Friday morning. That was a relief getting his call but now I'm nervous about Friday. I guess I'm nervous because its something I haven't done before and not sure what all to expect.

I have also been stressed about Frappy, he has had 3 more seizures in the last couple weeks, and it terrifies me because I am not ready to lose him. I hate not knowing how much longer he will be around. I hope I have at least 3 years! He is a little fighter and I love him so much.

This morning I went and signed a conditional job offer which pretty much says as long as I pass psych and the medical, the job is mine...

I am pretty useless at work today... my head is elsewhere. And I am tired.

Christmas has come and gone!!

Its amazing how fast Christmas has come and gone!!! I traveled up north with my dad to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my sisters and the kids. It was so nice having my family together, a Christmas I wont forget. These past few years have been so much more exciting with my niece and nephew in the picture, its all about them! I love watching Caden get more and more excited each year. This year he slept in until 8 and my sister had to finally wake him because we were all ready to open gifts! Here is my Christmas in pictures!!

2 days til Xmas!

Can you believe how fast the month of December flew by?! I cannot believe in just two days its Christmas!

3 more hours and I will be outta work and I still have to go shop for a few more things!! Wish me luck!! 

The bf and I are very lucky to have so many things so its very hard to shop for someone who has everything under the sun. But I gotta think of something! And fast!!

My manager and another manager both got my gift cards and then combined with my other gift cards, I have all these!!

I will be drinking free for awhile!

Well tomorrow I will be off to my sisters house so I will not likely be blogging until Sunday...

Cookies, Cookies, Cookies

Friday night I had my girlfriends over for an evening of baking and decorating cookies. My older sister was in town and she and my nephew came which was extra special. He loved all the attention from all the girls. He was our personal little photographer too! He would say, "come on girls, come over to the couch for a picture!" Too cute. So here we all are...

Saturday I had to do a sit-along at the Sheriffs department which entailed sitting with a dispatcher for 4 hours to get an idea of what the job consists of. Due to the rain, it wasn't as busy as it might have been but I still enjoyed being there. People sure call 911 for some ridiculous reasons... Anyways, I am still waiting to hear what the situation is with my background stuff...

Secret Santa

We have been playing Secret Santa at work for the past two weeks and we finally revealed ourselves today! I had NO idea who had me. We were supposed to leave little clues to help the person make some guesses but I really had no idea. The lady I sit close to told me she had our other buddy, but all along she had me! I didn't figure it out until the other person opened her present and her SS revealed herself. I was tricked!! I am so happy she had me though! Here is what I got!

A Starbucks cup and gift card! She definitely went over the $10 limit!

I am so looking forward to tonight!! I am having my favorite girls over to make Christmas sugar cookies and just spend time with one another. My sister and the kids are coming and I am SO excited to see them. Only 2 more hours of work and I'm outta here!!

4 Eyes

I can no longer call the bf 4 eyes! Not that I ever did it to be mean, but now he can almost see! Its really incredible how far technology has come! It only took about 10 minutes total for the lasik procedure and we were on our way home in no time. He was uncomfortable for some time, felt like he had sand or eyelashes in his eyes... but he just slept the afternoon/night away. Here he is on the way home...

Don't you love those eye shields? bahahaha

Tonight we are off to a Mexican dinner to celebrate his birthday with about 15 of our close friends.

And thank gosh tomorrow is Friday!
