12 years

Yesterday was the 12 year passing of when my mom went to Heaven.

I cried on the way to work thinking about her and wishing she was here.

I was pretty busy at work during the day so I was okay and when I got home my friend Amanda had brought me flowers. Definitely cheered me up.

Baby Shower x 2

This was a weekend of baby showers, I feel like I did nothing else which is making me sad since today is almost over and tomorrow is Monday. BUT, they were both for good friends so I cant complain too much.

Friday I was on a ride along all day and nothing too exciting happened, which is good and bad. I'm glad people were safe in the city but it made for a boring ride. We came across this BIG tree that had fallen down and was blocking the street.

Thankfully a cadet came and took over so we weren't stuck just sitting there. The sad call of the day was a house was burglarized and the house was totally ransacked :( I felt so bad for the mom, she was so shaken and upset. All her jewelery was gone and probably more but they weren't allowed to look too much until CSI got there to investigate. That is my biggest fear, someone going thru private and personal stuff and taking things that aren't theirs. Some people are real ASSHOLES.

Saturday was my a baby shower for my friend Kim, sadly I don't have any pictures yet.

Today was a shower for my friend Steve and his girl Kelli. I got a few pictures to share...

Birthday Recap

I had a pretty great birthday considering I was at work :)

My one co-worker brought in bagels, and the other brought cupcakes.

Funfetti is the only way to go...

After work, most my favorite people joined us for dinner and I couldn't have been happier. It was just the right amount of people and I felt super blessed. Here are us girls.

Car Troubles and more...

Soooo....

I had just merged onto the freeway en route to get my hair done when my car made a funny noise and straight died in the fast lane!! I pressed the gas petal and nothing would happen so I merged onto the side of the freeway. I always get oil changes and take pretty good care of my car so I had no idea what the frick was wrong!! My dad came and he drove the car off to the exit and he said it was fine to him... Then I started driving it towards his house since I was already too late for my hair appointment and the car almost died twice on the way and was seriously struggling to go. My bf drove it to my dads "car guy" and a few hours later and $200 we went and picked it up. Soon as we got home the car started doing the same thing and the engine was violently shaking. Back to the auto shop we went. Thankfully I made it to go with my friend Kim to her ultrasound which was 3d and saw the baby for the first time. Very cool to see how technology is these days! 

Then we went to a surprise party for my friend Kristen which took my mind off the car and the roots in my hair. Then got the call that my car wouldn't be ready until Monday. Enter more anger. 

Sunday was okay... we hit up Costco in the POURING rain. Then had lunch, napped with Frap, then grocery shopped. It seriously rained the WHOLE day. Not normal for us. I skyped with my sis and the kids which was really nice to end my day with.

Today was another day in the academy, but it was a somewhat stressful day and my head hurts. 

Our really good friends B&B are at the hospital right now about to have a baby so that's exciting! That's about it for now... I think this pig would be a perfect friend for Frappy :)

It's the weekend!

So happy its Saturday, I look forward to resting my brain the next two days. I haven't been able to blog much since being in the academy, nothing exciting goes on during the week because of the long days. 

We went to Macaroni Grill on Thursday night and that was the extent of us celebrating St. Patrick's Day. But here is my cute goddaughter :)

Yesterday at work, instead of being in the classroom, we went on a car ride all over the place. We stopped by Piru Lake and seeing the lake makes me hope to be there this summer on a boat getting my tan on :)

We also stopped by Robin's Point off the PCH, it made for a great view!

Today I am getting the roots done, going with my friend to her ultrasound appointment, then off to a surprise party for my friend Kristen. Sadly its supposed to rain the next few days :(

While I am waiting for the Bachelor...

This past weekend was very enjoyable, we relaxed, we saw friends, and ate good food.

Saturday I got a pedicure with my friend Kim, her baby bump is growing by the day. I got bright pink on my toes and I love it. We then picked up the boys, some yummy Mexican food, and headed for higher ground. We ate our lunch and enjoyed this view.

Late that night we went to my friend Amanda's house to celebrate her cats 17th birthday :)

We ate, drank, played games, and had cake. I pretty much never left the fireplace though!

Yesterday we did some more baby shower shopping, had lunch, hung with Frappy, and strolled the mall. I got a cute new grey VS jacket that I can't wait to "open" next Wednesday :)

2 more hours until the Bachelor starts... although I read the spoilers and know the ending, I'm looking forward to ATFR to see whats up with the final couple...

I cant believe I haven't blogged since Monday! I am in a dispatching academy right now and doing well is the most important thing to me right now! I just finished my 3rd week and I have 4 more weeks to go. The academy has been awesome, we are learning so much but at a great pace. I also got my first paycheck and that was awesome :)

My birthday is in less than 2 weeks! I cant believe I am going to be 

Today I am meeting a friend for a pedicure, getting the eyebrows waxed, studying, cleaning the house, and tonight we are going to a friends house for dinner. Sounds like a great day to me! Time to wake up my sleepy boys :)

Another Monday... at least the Bachelor is on

I was sick all weekend which resulted in a pretty boring weekend :(

We tried to lay low on Saturday but I was so bored on Sunday that we ventured out to the mall but I quickly regretted that as my body was so tired. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and ended up coming home empty handed. I finally get paid this week so I can't wait to have a paycheck again!

In other good news, my goddaughter Ava is home!

And tonight is the Bachelor, Women tell All! That means one more week and we finally see the finale!! I totally jumped the gun and read Reality Steve... I don't want to ruin it for any of you so I will not make any comments :) But if you want to discuss it, email me and I would love to chat about it! Here are some roses I got for $5 at the grocery store :)

Under the weather

I got a headache at lunch today and before I knew it I was sick as a dog. My body is so achy and my head is so foggy. I am already in bed and its only 8pm so I'm hoping a good nights rest will kick this fast. 

I feel behind in blogging... and I have no pictures to share..

• My goddaughter Ava should be going home tomorrow...
• I am mad at Brad for totally misleading one of the final 2 girls... I think he chooses Chantel but told Emily he is falling in love with her... not right, not cool
• I am ready for my first paycheck... another week to go... 
• Anyone watching Idol? I have 4 to catch up on...
