20 Weeks

How far along:  20 weeks

Baby size:  Banana

Baby's progress:  Weighs approximately 10.5 ounces and measures 10 inches from head to heel. Baby is swallowing more which is really cool to think about.

Weight gain:  I am probably up around 6-7 lbs.

Stretch marks: no thank gosh.

Sleep: it's nothing amazing but most nights I sleep okay. I randomly have dreams that are not welcome.

Gender: I will announce soon :)

Movement: nothing that I can for sure say oh that was the baby...

Best moment this week:  Will probably be on Thursday when we have our 20 week ultrasound

Looking forward to: feeling the movement

Food cravings: nothing strange.. just at the point where something either sounds good or doesn't

Weirdest food I ate this week: Nothing weird..

Anything making you queasy or sick: if I don't eat quick enough in the morning, I feel the need to throw up although there is nothing in my stomach. It's slowly happening less thank gosh.

What I miss: nothing really..

Symptoms: the occasional acne or morning sickness but both happening less and less

Workouts: Walking a mile at the local park on days off and prenatal yoga on Saturday

Things that suck: Not fitting in my clothes

Things that don't suck: being able to make purchases now and buying tiny outfits.

Where's the camera?

I totally failed at taking pictures this weekend which is shocking because my husband is usually embarrassed by all my snapping.
Was a fun weekend despite working a little overtime both Saturday and Sunday. I need to start saving my dollar bills for all baby things related!

Friday I spent some time cleaning out my little office and throwing/donating things that are no longer needed as that room will be the nursery. Had a few friends over for dinner and caught up on Big Brother.

I had been craving a slurpee for awhile and we only have one Seven Eleven in town and of course its not on my end so I finally made it there for one. Delish.

Saturday I did prenatal yoga with a girlfriend, then had lunch with a friend who just had a little guy 3 weeks ago. Zipped into work for 4 hours, hit Kohl's and called it a day.

Sunday I worked for 6 hours, got a pedicure with two girlfriends, spent time with hubs, and had the most delicious scallops with my dad and his girlfriend.

Looking forward to Thursday when we get to see Baby Taylor <3 p="">

Home Sweet Home

Where did the week go?? Only a few more days off before I am back to work. Happy to be going back for a half day of overtime before the long 12 hour days begin.

I am loving my ipsy box this month. If you aren't signed up for this, you are crazy cray. It's only $10!

Not loving.. 3 am wake up calls from this dude. He just wants a cookie... and then again at 5am..

I am pretty obsessed with these maternity 7 jeans, so comfy and soft!! So thankful my husband has a appreciation for nice jeans! #dontjudge

Lastly, dinner at home. I am trying to make dinner every night since we ate out so much in Maui. Here is a total Pinterest win.
Shredded chicken, broccoli and cheese stuffed shells. So easy and so delish!!

You will need.. for 4 peeps

2 cups chicken cooked and shredded
1 jar of Alfredo sauce
2 cups cooked broccoli and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
Jumbo pasta shells
1 jar of red sauce (I used 4 cheese)

Pre heat oven to 350
In a large bowl, mix Alfredo, chicken, broccoli, and cheeses. Spoon into shells.

Grease baking dish, poor in the red sauce, add stuffed shells, cover with foil and bake 35 minutes.

Enjoy!

Babymoon Part 1

I am going to split this into 2 days to prevent picture overload. Where did the last week go? We have come and gone from Maui, as fun as it was I am just as happy and content being home. I missed Frappy way too much. Yes I'm crazy.

So my food plans in Maui didn't go as planned, and that killed me as I am such a planner freak. We still made a few happen and the time on the beach and at the pool made up for it.

We wanted to not spend as much this trip (who am I kidding, Maui is not cheap), we were going to have a mountain view room but for $72 more, we upgraded and had a garden/beach view. Worth it a million times over. We would start every morning and evening on the patio of our room.
We stayed at the Westin, had 5 pools including a adult pool.

Uploading these are making me miss it already...

Food

As we prepare for our Babymoon in Maui, our time there will be much different than our honeymoon. No zip lining, para-sailing, drinking, etc.
I have been obsessed with the show Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives and therefore our trip will be all about eating!

Thanks to the Internet I have quite a few places lined up for us to try and I can't wait!

First up, the Geste Shrimp Truck.

It is near the airport so this will be lunch our first day!

Up next, Jawz. Supposed to have the best fish tacos... we shall see!

For dinner one night, Koa's Seaside Grill in Lahaina. Can't beat that view.

Lastly on my current list, Shark Pit Maui. Reviews raved about the corn on the cob. I can't wait!

Now to pack our bags!

16 Weeks

How far along:  16 weeks

Baby size: An avocado

Baby's progress: My app doesn't say too much about this week, just that I should be feeling better with less nausea (hmm we'll see about that).

Weight gain:  I have no freaking idea how much I have gained. Every scale seems to be different.  Maybe 8-10 lbs??

Stretch marks: negative. I have been using cocoa butter after the shower.

Sleep: Fine.. it gets old having to pee in the middle of the night and early morning but it is what it is.

Gender: No idea.. a few more weeks til that

Movement: not yet, maybe in the coming weeks

Best moment this week:  hmm.. nothing exciting has really happened.

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender. I made an appointment today for the 16th.

Food cravings: every day there seems to be something I want. Clam Chowder, Thai food, pasta, carbs, mini carrots and from time to time a crunchy pickle.

Weirdest food I ate this week: I have never liked pickles so its weird to me to eat them. But it has to be crunchy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: certain smells still get to me. Like the trash or something in the fridge, or bathrooms.

What I miss: my body? It's just weird seeing it change. I just have to remind myself I can work it off later.

Symptoms: I still throw up from time to time. Was fine this weekend and then this morning I got sick. It's no fun.

Workouts: I went to 2 yoga classes this weekend and walked a mile at the local park. Gotta keep that up.

Things that suck: Throwing up.. Waiting to find out the gender..

Things that don't suck: being blessed with this pregnancy. I just gotta take it one day at a time. Oh! I bought Hudson and Seven pregnant jeans and that makes me feel so much better about myself. I couldn't handle ugly jeans.
