Wine in Paso

The first day of our adventure started off wine tasting with a bunch of friends in the wedding industry that were going to be apart of the shoot the following day. We all hopped in a limo, and off we went.

Gorgeous weather, amazing views. Doesn't get much better with a glass of wine in hand.

 

 Awesome thing about this place is they don't add any sulfites to their wine, and it's as natural as it gets.

 

 

 

Paso Robles is such a great little town, highly suggest it for getaways!

 

5 things Friday

 

Happy Friday!

 

Sadly, I will be working the next 3 days, at 12 hours a pop. 

 

 I will have to live vicariously thru your blog posts and Instagram pictures to get me thru the weekend. Here are 5 things I am thankful for today.

 

1. Sangria date with the girlfriends last night

 

2. My Frappy. I couldn't be more in love with this dude.

 

3. This view in Paso Robles... I will just pretend I am back there.

 

4. My husband. We had fun at this backyard wedding last weekend!

 

5. Getting my butt back in the gym has been the best thing for me. I feel so much better and I can't wait to get stronger and fitter.

 

 

 



Wedding Number 2

We had the privilege of being in a mock wedding yesterday in Paso Robles to take pictures for a new wedding property.

We got married at Hartley Botanical in southern California, and they bought a new property called Hartley Farms a few hours north. We were so excited to have photos done by one of our favorite photographers and have new photos to add to our wedding album.

16 days

It's been so awesome being off work, that its going to be very hard going back. I have a 6 hour overtime shift tomorrow, and then i'm in for two long 12 hour days, and another 6 on Friday. I guess I will just be thankful it's technically my short week.

Friday, I let my hair down, and actually enjoyed the night out. Went with a girlfriend to dinner, had a few drinks, and just had a great time being out. Thanks to the white sangria, yummo!

Yesterday, I decided to help actually work on the house with the husband. He is so smart and can pretty much fix or put together anything. We bought a closet organizer from Lowes, and with the hundred pieces, we he figured it out.

and now to fill that bad boy up with clothes & shoes!

Well Frappy and I are going to enjoy our last lazy day together!

Weekend Goodness

Hope y'all had a great weekend! I definitely don't have any complaints!! I have been off work for 7 days so far, with another 8 to go. Hopefully the sun comes out today so I can enjoy the day!

Friday evening we had our 3 favorite couples over for dinner, to celebrate the engagement of 2 of them, and we also had our year old cake since it was too much to bring to Palm Springs. Verdict.... EW. 

Saturday I laid pool side with my girl J, totally fried my back, but it was the perfect day.

Perfect cup of Moscato, Lemonade and frozen Raspberries.

Sunday, a trip to Lowes, an afternoon nap, and our favorite homemade tri tip salad.

We also started, "Orange is the new Black" last night. Have any of you watched it??!! Holy Smokes, lots of craziness in that show! We watched the first 2 episodes and will definitely have to keep watching to see what happens.

Thankful Friday

 Not gonna lie, I haven't had the best experience with blog swaps before, but my sender on this one didn't disappoint. Can't wait to do another one in the future! I have a weird obsession with hoarding coffee mugs and this one is so pretty!

2nd, my girlfriends. I am seriously blessed. Wine on a Thursday night? Yes PLEASE.

And lastly, my husband. He works so incredibly hard on our house. We are in the process of having all the walls re-mudded and smoothed, popcorn ceilings are gone, new paint, new doors, new door knobs. The man is the best handy man and worker I know. Again, blessed.

How we Celebrated...

For the past 4 years or so, we have been frequent visitors of a place in Palm Springs called the La Quinta Resort. It is our little escape, our happy place. 

Monday morning we jetted off to our HOT paradise, checked in, and jumped in the pool!

We shared a cheeseburger and Bloody Mary as a afternoon snack, before taking a little siesta before dinner.

We chose to dine at Ruth Chris, can't go wrong with that place! Delicious and perfect!!

Tuesday the husband treated us to our first couples massage, which was amazing but I had a hard time swallowing the price!!

A little Starbucks, another dip in the pool, and we were headed home!

Honestly, it was the BEST way to celebrate one year. I am so incredibly blessed.

Counting down til we visit again...

Today marks our first year of marriage.

This year flew by!!

We have had such a great time modernizing and updating our new home.

Spending time with our closest friends.

Loving and spoiling our Frappy.

Time with family.
