Well we have moved!

 

Sunday was a LONG day of going back and forth from the apartment to the new casa. We are still exhausted from that day but slowly settling into our new place.

 

I also attended a bridal shower in the morning for my friend Keri, she is so creative and crafty!

Two

 

Two things that make my heart happy are my two boys.

Maui: Part 1

 

I will split this up into two days so that you aren't overwhelmed with pictures :)

 

We spent 6 days in Maui at the Sheraton Resort at Black Rock. Highly recommend the hotel and area of Kaanapali. You are able to walk from hotel to hotel and a shopping area called Whalers Village nearby. Our first day there we bought a few excursions to spread out over the week which we ended up getting lucky on and had no real complaints.

 

We did a booze cruise, zip lining, snorkeling at black rock, and snorkeled at Molokini. We had some amazing dinners while there and spent a heck lot of cash. For our registry we used Travelers Joy, which worked out perfect for us. We got the money while we were in Hawaii and since we have lived together for the past 5 years, we didn't need all the stuff newlyweds normally ask for.

Paint & Demo

 

This weekend was mostly spent painting and fixing up the new house. We hit up Lowes where we bought paint and tools. Painting sounds fun for like one wall, then its not so fun anymore.

 

First the boys took down this ugly hood above the stove, looks so much better now that its gone!

 

 Then we spent most of Sunday painting. There is still SO much to do before we move in this weekend!

Thursday Loves

 

Thank you guys for all the recent blog love!!

 

I am sitting here at work (3am) ahhh the joy of shift work :P  So ready to go back to day shift on Monday!!

 

Wanted to share my new day planner from Maybooks!! I love it!! Wish I would have known about it sooner, would have got the bridal version!

 

I have been trying to work on my thank you cards, have about 10 more to do!

 

Target got about $250 of my money yesterday, but I was happy to finally get a bike. Disregard hubby's face :) he was being silly.

 

Still addicted to gels, here is the latest.

Homeowners!

 

I am happy to share that we got the keys to our very own, first house!

 

Its unreal how fast everything happened, although frustrating at times, it still happened fast.

 

We came back from the honeymoon assuming all was still well because we hadn't heard otherwise, and this past week we paid $$ and closed on Friday.
