Outdoor Fun

 

On Saturday night we were invited to the outdoor game at Dodger Stadium to see our beloved King's play. I got more excited as the day went on and had such a great time despite the final score. The weather was awesome, I think it was even warmer than being inside Staples center. To show how great our weather was they had people playing volleyball in the outfield before and during the periods.

This was the view going into the game, straight stunning.

Spa Day

Spa days are going to be my new thing! Well, every few months anyways!! I have a stressful job (911 dispatcher) and who doesn't have other worries so I need massages on a monthly basis.  I normally hit the Massage Place since its affordable, usually around $55 with tip and it's just convenient. 

I was scanning Travel Zoo and came across a great deal for one of the nicest Hotel and Spa's in Santa Barbara. It was $120 for an hour massage, access to the entire spa and a glass of bubbly. Yes please!

Headed north with 2 coworkers, stopped for an amazing breakfast with mimosas, and hit the spa.

Massages, time by the pool, a dip in the hot tub, and a 4 day weekend? Amazing.

Just found another great spa deal on Group On, gonna save it for my 30th!

Ipsy

Have you heard of ipsy??

I was subscribed to Birchbox for about 5 months before I made the switch to ipsy and seriously LOVE it. For $10 a month, you either love your whole bag, or the majority of it. You can even update your profile to make sure you receive stuff you actually want and will use. 

My favorite item to date?

I would have probably never bought it to try unless I was sent it. I love it and will be going to Ulta this weekend to buy it. What is even better? You get coupon codes for the items you receive.

What's on your lips?

My obsession with Eos lip balm is growing by the day. I have always been one to have at least 2 chap sticks in my purse and feel like I am doing to die if I have nothing to put on my lips. I go thru phases of the brand I am loving, but right now I have enough balms to last me the rest of the year!

One thru Five

Dropped the ball on blogging this week, not too much going on besides work. It's another working weekend for me so I'm not as excited as y'all. Counting down until Monday for sure!

Let's get on to 5 things Friday

1. Hockey game with my dad. So thankful for the time spent with him.

2. The gorgeous weather. I know some are bitching, but I'm loving it!

3. New Shampoo & Conditioner. Can't wait to see if it helps extend my color. Not gonna lie, I was drawn to the pretty bottle initially!

4. French Toast for dinner and snuggling with my Frap!

5. Weekly bubbly. Oh so good and only ten bucks.

Weekend Finds

So sad to see the weekend end. But... this week isn't looking too shabby! Only working a half day today before taking my dad to the King's game tonight. Can't wait!

We scored at Marshall's yesterday! Saw this a week ago and went back hoping it was still there.

Also found this cute sign to hang my jackets on.

Then we hit Bed, Bath & Beyond with our 20% off coupons and got new toothbrushes and this sign for our extra room.

Picked up coffee to visit with a friend and saw this mug I had to have!

Definitely a successful weekend shopping and finding goodies!
