I got this free pink dog from Victoria Secret and thought it would be the perfect friend for Frappy. She doesn't bark, bug him, take attention away, or tackle him! Here they are in pictures :)

Cherry Eye Baby

I have been wanting to add another "baby" aka "dog" to my life for some time now... I was so close a few months ago but then changed my mind last second. Frappy is a huge part of my life and I love that guy so much but he is a lot of work. He has seizures from having a bad liver so he always has something going on. Good days and bad days but I am obsessed with him. He loves to be at my dads house so I take him back and forth. I feel like I am missing out when he's not with me so I make a huge effort to pick him up at night or at least go visit him and then drop him back off in the morning before work. Well the lady I almost bought from last time has another little guy that has "cherry eye" and my heart hurts for him. He originally was $500-600 but now is down to $300 because he will need a minor surgery to fix it. The surgery though is about $500... So I don't know what to do. She is taking them to the vet on Tuesday for shots and will let me know what the vet thinks is the best route for him. She said something about an ointment but I don't know how well that would work... Always a chance he would still need surgery. So I guess I will wait til Tuesday and see what she says... here is a picture of the cutie pie :)

Wedding Bells for good friends

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! My friends Megan & Trevor tied the knot on Friday night and I had so much fun! It was such a great wedding and reception. She really did a great job with all the details of it and it made me antsy for the day I finally get to start planning my own wedding. Her colors were pink and black and although I am not a huge pink person I thought it looked great. She did real simple centerpieces and cute little bags of different pink and white m&ms as gifts for the guests. My bf was the DJ and that was his gift to them. Good friends get good gifts :) Everyone danced the night away and now they are on their honeymoon in Hawaii for 14 days! I will think of them everyday and be jealous :p

Saturday we didn't do too much during the day... in the evening we went to have dinner with his sis and her hubby about an hour away. It was nice to see them and catch up.

Sunday we lounged around until about one, then went and had some fish tacos and clam chowder at a new place in town. I met my friend Andrea at the movies to see Inception. Soooo good!! I am still soooo confused but I loved what I got! Leo is such a great actor. Have any of you seen it?After the movie, Kyle and I met Amanda and her bf for a Mexican dinner and it was def good to see her. I had a great weekend and hoping for a quick work week! No big plans this week so we shall see what comes up :)

SAY CHEESE!

I am almost finished with Invisalign! I had braces twice when I was younger but was foolish and didn't wear my retainers. Having my teeth move and shift made me really self conscious. Last year I shelled out the dough and got myself invisalign. I was pretty lucky because of course the orthodontist remembers me and gave me a great deal on them. He had already racked in like $12K from my parents for the braces remember :)

Anyways, Invisalign really does work and my teeth are almost perfect again. I had to go in yesterday to get new impressions done of my teeth and that sucked!! They have to be absolutely perfect when they send them to the Invisalign place and the girl couldn't get it right! Instead of doing it once on top and once on bottom, I had it done 6 times!! Its the nastiest purple goop that the put on these trays and hold against your teeth for 4 minutes!! I was in tears towards the end because I really was uncomfortable and started to feel like I couldn't breath because I was panicking in my head. Anyways, we will see how many more trays I need next month. Any of you girls use Invisalign?

Tonight I am going to a fun Mexican restaurant for margaritas, chips n salsa, and good friends. I will try and take pictures as I know posts without pictures aren't as fun!

And tomorrow is Friday!! woohoo!!

Happy Monday!

I never know how to start a new blog post lol. Another day at work after a lovely weekend. Friday night I went to a Mexican restaurant called Cabo with Kyle and some of his co workers. We had such a good time. Really good food and even better margaritas! We are going again this Thursday for a re-do! Saturday I went to the pool for a few hours and then later that evening had dinner and drinks with my friend Andrea. I was bad at taking pictures this weekend! I haven't told any of my friends that I have a blog so they probably don't understand why I need pictures of all my outings lol. Yesterday I was back at the pool and was out a little too long, definitely a little red today. We watched Big Brother and Holly's World and just had a mellow night relaxing. I only know a few of you are watching that show but I love it :) Tonight I am going to another Mexican restaurant with Kyles family and then watching the Batchelorette. She is down to 3 guys even though we obviously know Frank is going home. Oh ya, I bought Kendra's new book and finished it in two days... any of you read it?? Thoughts??

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

I had the privilege of going to Disneyland on Monday with my family for free! We had some friends visiting from Canada who bought tickets (buy 3 days get 2 free) and there was 5 in their family and they each used three days so each ticket still had two days on them. It could not have worked out better timing wise because my older sister and the kids were down visiting so we picked Monday and off we went! I had to call in sick that day but it was so worth it to see Caden experience Disneyland for the first time. It was special to be there with both my sisters and my dad, a trip I wont ever forgot. Surprisingly it wasn't a crowded day and we were able to go on a lot of things. I wanted to go on Splash Mountain but it was such a hot day that the line was pretty long the entire day. My favorite ride there is Space Mountain, any of you been on it?? Its literally pitch dark with "stars". You have no idea whats in front of you but its so fun. The tickets expire this coming Saturday so I'm debating on going one more time... Its pretty incredible how expensive it is now just for one ticket to the park. How many is too many?

This is a short post as I am about to start cooking dinner but I was trying to catch up on your blogs and realized, heck I follow a lot of blogs... I have to ask... how many do you all read normally? I know we all have our favorites but I still like to read a lot of different ones... So tell me, how many??

I am so happy tomorrow is Friday! I am curled up right now with my little Frappy but I'm hungry so i should get up and start cooking. Tonight is the start of Big Brother 12!! Do any of you like that show? I get obsessed with it!

Missing Palm Springs already!

I'm backkkkkk!!! I had a wonderful 5 day vacation in Palm Springs!! I thought I was ready to come home because I was missing my frappy boy, and the sun was sooooo hot, but now that I'm home and at work, i wanna go back!! We enjoyed every minute of the trip, except the drive there. We were only about 20 minutes away from the resort when the freeway started stopping... sure enough they were doing construction and were closing the freeway from 4 lanes to 3 to 2 to 1 to everyone getting off the freeway and getting right back on. Took us an extra hour! We got there close to midnight but it was still like 80 degrees out lol. We hung all day at the pool on Friday and went to a really expensive dinner that night (we had no idea how expensive) and sadly the food wasn't all that great. not my cup of tea. Saturday, poolside again all day, and then had a margarita party that night. There was even a mariachi band during dinner. Sunday was a crowded day at the pool, lots and lots of peeps. So hot that you are either in the water or in the air conditioned room! We ate at the Tilted Kilt that night, have any of you been there?? Soooo yummy!! Not that many locations near me sadly. My dinner was sooooo good. After dinner we layed on the pool chairs til almost midnight enjoying our last night. It was such a blast and I'm already looking forward to it again next year!! 3:30am

Yesterday after work I went and got my hair colored and then met my friend Brooke for pedicures. We got there at 7 and surprisingly they close at 7 but they were so nice to do our toes! But my girl was not very happy about it. But thankfully they are nice and red for the holiday weekend! Then we headed to the tanning salon that I used to work at to tan and get spray tanned. Since I used to work there the girl just gave me both cartridges so I could just put hers in when I was done. I sprayed, cleaned it, and then started the machine for her. We said goodnight and went our separate ways. This morning I woke up at 3:30 and somehow thought about about the whole tanning thing. It dawned on me that I never put her color cartridge in the booth!! I was freaking out! I woke up the bf and told him what I thought happened. He was no help lol. I played it over and over in my head but couldn't remember ever putting it in for her. She hadn't been spray tanned before so she wouldn't have really known what to be expecting. I texted her this morning tell her.... soooo i cant remember if I put the color in or not. do you see color today?? then there was a long pause before she texted back so i was tripping. But she said ya you did put the color in lol. She says she is tan and loves it so thank gosh!! I would have felt so bad!! I was thinking I didn't put it in and she just got a little left over color that was in the machine and it just colored her one side or something. Too much.

Anyways, I just gotta get thru today at work and then tonight we are off to Palm Springs! I hope you all have a lovely 4th of July weekend!!
