While it has been amazing not having a car payment the past 3 years, its time to suck it up and make the purchase. After searching around, we have found the perfect one...
It wasn't the "one" right away, but after driving 2 hours out of our way to check out another one in downtown LA, we knew the one back at home was the right one for me.
I work really hard and I am really good with my money, so I am going to get the CR-V with all the bells and whistles. I can't wait! Going after work tonight to sign the papers.
We were lucky enough to have the husband's grandparents come and stay with us for the past few nights, and grandma sure can cook!! Everything was so yummy and we even had delicious turkey enchiladas the day after with leftovers.
This was the first year I had interest in learning how to cook a thanksgiving meal, and learned its actually pretty easy!

Walk like a zombie to the shower. I can not go in public without a shower. Yes, I wash my hair every day :)

Lets be real, its been 3 months since Ive seen the gym. Hoping today is the day I get back to it because she is having a black Friday deal, $100 for 6 weeks of classes

Say hi to hubs and change into comfy clothes!!
5. First car
I drove an older Mercedes that was my moms, I loved that car. Until I crashed it.
6. First car accident / traffic violation
When I was 16, a rainy evening, I turned left into another car and T-boned it. I bawled.
7. First thing you wanted to be when you grew up
Like Erica, I wanted to be a veterinarian as well. But I don't do well with animals dying so that changed real quick!!
8. First choice beverage
I would probably say a "spicy" which means a really cold carbonated Coke!!
9. First choice breakfast
Either an Eggo waffle or cereal!! I am on a cinnamon toast crunch kick right now.
10. First choice dessert
I think I stay thin partly because I am not big on desserts! I like about two bites of ice cream, half a cupcake, etc. But I do like candy... so hot tamales, sour straws, etc is my go to.

Would be the Honda Civic I still own today, not having a car payment is great, but I'm itching for a new one!

Considering I have the WORST memory ever, I have no idea! I was small I'm sure. We moved from Canada when I was 2 or 3...

15. First real "big girl" job
I worked for Oliver Peoples in West Hollywood. What a amazing job that was. Surrounded by sunglasses day in and day out. Amazing employee deals on the shades. Have about 20 pairs at home!
We had a great weekend overall! Friday we headed down to Anaheim where the husband had a gig, so I hung in the hotel room where I watched the Disneyland fireworks from the room. They sure go all out with their fireworks, lasted about 5 minutes! I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow and was up ready for Disneyland bright and early.
We stayed at the Sheraton where we enjoyed a AMAZING breakfast of bagels, muffins, oatmeal, all sorts of juices, lattes, and cappuccinos!
The weather was cloudy and cold, but that made for shorter lines! Up first, Space Mountain!! My favorite ride of course. Never been? Not a good video on YouTube, but its like flying thru space.
Well its mid week and I am ready for the weekend!

Last night I had my first Christmas Boutique where I displayed my lockets, considering how nervous I was, it went well! I sold 8 there, and hopefully more will come online.

I hit our favorite furniture store last weekend, Urban Home and found this great pub table that sits 3 for our kitchen nook area.

Until we find a outside table set, I got frapster a dog bed as laying in the sun is his favorite thing.
and we are going to Disneyland this weekend, so excited!
So on the house front, we used to have these french doors that led to the backyard, pretty, but I didn't feel comfortable. I felt like they could have been broken easily(intruder worry)
We bought a sliding glass door from Lowe's and hubs and a friend tried to install it last weekend. It didn't go as planned. So they gave it another shot this past Sunday, and it is now in perfectly! We just need a stucco man to fix it and we'll paint and it'll be done!
I feel way safer now! Love the built in blinds too!
Yesterday we were all screwed up from the time change so we got up early and set up the Keurig machine. I'll have to get some hot chocolate cups for the hubs.
Speaking of coffee, I FINALLY hit GOLD!!
And like the rest of you Americans, I voted. Then worked a 16 hour day. And praying for our country.
Looking forward to my 3 day weekend with a fun wedding to attend Saturday! Even better my husband is the DJ so I get to watch him in action. Sunday will be a day of rest and whatever we want!
