Holy Sick

Who gets bronchitis while pregnant? This girl...

I think this has been the sickest I have ever been. The mixture of coughing, sore throat, feeling like hell, and throwing up has just been over the top. I have felt some very low moments in this past week. At times forgotten. My husband worked every single day, even the weekend. I find myself starring at the clock until its almost time for him to come home. I went to Urgent Care on Sunday, thank the high heavens my dad was able to drive me. I was given the diagnoses and a prescription which I am now on day 4. Plenty of missed work, many boring days, but its doing the right thing for this baby which is my concern. 

People are funny when you're sick. Everyone offers their go to get better remedies. Trust me, I tried it all. Hot Tea, hot water, lemon, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, Vick's on your feet, Gatorade, gargling with salt water, etc etc. I couldn't even manage a shower for days!! I think the worst is behind me thankfully.

Yesterday I missed a spa day but found these on my porch. I am truly touched by the thoughtfulness of a certain girl. Sometimes you shouldn't have to ask for a favor. She makes me want to be a better friend.

Oh Baby

The time has come to share the real reason behind my absence...

Baby Taylor is coming in December! 

I always wondered why newly pregnant bloggers went MIA but now I totally get it. There is no energy for it. You have this secret and feel like there is nothing else to share.. 

I hit 14 weeks this past weekend so I am hoping my energy comes back and the sickness fades.

I am SO thankful for this blogging community and the friends I have made from it. I think a few of you even knew before my friends & family. It was and is so awesome to have that email connection when we have never even met. So thank you!!

Hump Day

Even though it's my short week, waking up early 2 days is seeming like a lot. Getting to work this morning with a big incident isn't starting this day off that great either... I need Starbucks stat.

Let's get back to my last 2 days off...

Visited a friend's new baby. He was almost 10 lbs at birth! Still a cutie.

Was cracking up when the barista spelled my name wrong and then corrected it on his own... 

Loving my new suit from VS. Counting down the days until I am on the sand in Maui...

My little Frap sunbathing, keeping those little bones warm.

And my boys... I really HOPE tonight is the night we win the cup!!! 

Weekend

 

Husband was away in Arizona for the weekend so I had to keep myself busy to make it go quicker. The only plus side was going to bed super early and not feeling bad about it. Like 9pm :)

 

Friday consisted of breakfast and a spa day with a girlfriend. It wasn't my most favorite spot, but no complaints on the massage or facial. First facial in a long time, thinking I need to do that more often..

 

Saturday I worked 6 hours of over time, hit Toys R Us for a gift, met a friend to try on wedding dresses, went to a birthday party, and home to bed! I was proud of myself for the non stop day.

 

This little cutie turned 3. I just love that age. She understood what was going on and was so excited.

 

Was nice to catch up with friends as well.

 

Hubs was home early Sunday, we had lunch and hung around at home. Then watched the King's win game 7. Amazinggggg.

Life doesn't get any better than the above!
