Frappy

Well Frappy had another scary seizure on Wednesday night at 2am, we awoke to him in full seizure mode and we both jumped into action of getting to the door to get cold air and K grabbed sugar to put in his mouth. He seemed to be calming down so we came back to bed, but then he just went straight into another one. I was so frazzled and scared that we would lose him, that I couldn't even hold him. Kyle took him outside and I was so pale and winded that I thought I was going to pass out. I called my bff and she said she would be right over. After what seemed to be forever, K and Frap came back inside and I was so relieved. I called the bff and told her that we were good and she could go back to bed.

I am off for the weekend and going to spend the weekend with Frap <3

My old dog Snoopy (shih tzu) used to have seizures as well. I always found that he was dehydrated, so I would take a syringe and put a bit of water on his tounge and it would usually snap him out of it. I would make him drink afterwards as well. Poor little thing was always exhausted after a seizure! The vet gave us meds for him, but they just seemed to make him super drowsy. It is sooo hard to watch them go though a seizure and yet feel soo helpless. I hope he feels better soon!
