I want....

1. Our offer to get accepted on this house!! We see so much potential and its the neighborhood we want to be in! The first offer we put it the bank went with a different offer that ended up backing out! So annoying!! So we put in another offer yesterday, so waiting to hear again....
Its crazy how hard is it to buy a house in our city, so many buyers/investors out there with the same budget and we keep getting screwed!

2.  I would love to snuggle this fur boy forever!! I just love him so much.

3. I want people to stop bitching about MY wedding!!  And when I say people, its more some family members upset about the whole family not being invited. I only invited family that I know I will have a relationship with down the road!! And its freakin expensive!!

4. Can't wait to open this bad boy and see how it is! Any of you tried it?? What's the best recipe??

Happy Monday!!

I felt like we were in the same situation with our house hunt too. Everything in our price range was moving so quickly, but we kept going and it worked out. I will keep my fingers crossed for you guys that you get it!

OMG. I need to do a therapeutic "my family is nuts" post with respect to the wedding. If I had it my way? there'd be about, ohhh.. 25 family members there between my mom and dad. I'm not being a total nazi, I'm inviting ALL the parents siblings and their kids, and their grandkids. BUT my dad keeps sticking his mother (my grandma's) sisters' and their kids on the list.. some of whom I have NO conscious memory of, OR have met once. Um, start writing checks or hell no, dad. This ain't a family reunion.

He also wants to invite his neighbors as a "thank you" for something they did. Want to thank them? send a card. My wedding is not a "thank you".... sure they get invited to grad parties at the house but that's because they can SEE INTO THE BACKYARD and it's common sense to extend the "please don't call the cops on us" invite. Blarrghhh.

okay. back to studying. that felt good. haha.

OH, the point of that rant- I feel you on the "parents inviting people" portion.

Good luck on the house girl! I'm sure your realtor has told you the same thing that mine told me but to get my house I had to ask for no closing costs, close in 30 days and offered more than the asking price. I actually ended up offering about 8,000 more because of the amount of investors that swoop in with cash and try to get them for asking.
