I'm loving...

I finally got my monogrammed necklace I ordered from Groopdealz in December! I think it's the perfect size for me!

I ordered these prints off Etsy since it looks like my Frap, we framed them last night and up they went. 

I also finally finished a DIY project, super easy but very time consuming.

One of my close friends lost her dad in December, the hubs and I made this collage and put the comments from her dad by each picture. It felt so good giving it to her.

Hosting a Baby Shower

 

This past Saturday I co-hosted a baby shower for my good friend Kim who is expecting her 2nd daughter in March. Since it is her second shower, we didn't play games and we had a dessert theme. Kim is also obsessed with Minnie Mouse, but we just went with a simple pink,white, and zebra theme.

16 Hours....

 

That is how long I am working today. Something doesn't seem right about that.

Especially when I was up ALL night with the pup.

 

I was so tired I didn't get up to shower. And of course I am regretting that now.

And no breakfast.

 

Countdown til 3pm when I hit Starbucks for my daily tea.

In this size to be exact.

 

I am so ready to be off again for 3 days.

Dinner with the in laws on Friday, baby shower for a friend Saturday, and whatever I want on Sunday since the hubs is leaving me for a DJ convention.

Goodbye Teal!

So after having the master bedroom painted teal for the past 3 months, we decided we were 'over' it and hit Lowe's to find a new color. Since it was only one wall, it didn't take long at all to paint and we love the new color. Its a dark grey that possibly has a hint of purple, but not noticeable at all.

My husband added crown molding to the windows and it looks soooooo good!! Such an improvement!! 

Now I need to find the perfect pieces to hang on both sides of the windows!!

Since I enjoyed the last two days off, I am working today and tomorrow so I am not as excited as you all that its Friday but because I took Sunday off I am not complaining!!

 

Having days off during the week = lots of play dates with my girlfriends and DIY projects

 

Lazy mornings with my Frap

Skype Dates with my niece and sister (trust me, she was happy lol)

Snuggle time with the little ones in my life

And I got new charms for my locket, representing my momma. LOVE how it turned out.

After 12 days...

I have been off work for 12 days and it has been amazing!! The way it fell, I only had to use time off for 5 days, and I have not missed work at all!! It will be hard to wake up at 5:30am come Wednesday and Thursday!! 

I have had lots of lunch dates with my girlfriends, lots of afternoon naps with Frap, and extra time with the hubs. What a great way to start the new year!

Ringing in the New Year

Whoa, 2013 is here!!

After celebrating a late Christmas with my sister and her kids this past weekend, we had a fun time celebrating NYE with some close friends. 

I have LOTS to be thankful for, we had an amazing 2012. I really don't know how a year can get any better, but we will sure try!!

I am enjoying 9 days off of work, having lots of lunch dates with my girlfriends, and taking Christmas decorations down bit by bit.
