Heart Day

Hope you all had a great Valentine's day and weekend!
I worked all weekend but that didn't stop us from celebrating a day early. We cooked up some filet's, opened our favorite bottle of champagne, and enjoyed a night at home.

Got the hubs a Glossybox with a bunch of goodies he can try out.

Last weekend I celebrated with my girlfriends and made festive cookies.
Loved this bottle and got it for 2 of my fav's.

Happy Monday!

Happies

Three things that cheered me up this week:

Lush Bath Balls. Yes, they are way overpriced, but they are awesome.

My Erin Condren Address Book arrived. Love it.

Starbucks. End of story.

Thought's

Life isn't perfect and not always fair. I feel like a few things aren't going my way in life and it's starting to bum me out. I am trying to keep my head up and remind myself that it will all work out the way its suppose to. I am having a hard time not letting it affect my attitude which is showing with friends. I feel like I need to escape and find some cheer. My 30th birthday is next month so maybe a getaway with the husband will be in the cards...

Friday Thought's

I have been MIA this week because I was at a training class to learn how to train new dispatchers. Today is the final class and I am so excited to start my new journey and get back on the floor. I would assume its going to be quite a few months before we have new trainee on the floor but I look forward to whenever that is.

Being 8-5 has been interesting as it's been 3 years since I had that schedule. Waking up early has been hard, and not much interest in working out. Just wanting to come home to my husband and pup. I will be back on track next week!

A quick face time session with my nephew was a nice peak in the week.

Origami Owl's new heart locket. Even prettier in person.

And these 2. Melt my heart.

Happy Friday everyone!

On Cloud 9

Y'all! I met my favorite King's players this past Saturday night!! I am like a giddy school girl who just can't get over how amazing it was. As of Friday morning I was not planning on attending the event because I didn't have anyone to go with. I was contemplating on rolling solo and just buying myself a ticket. Fast forward a few hours, a Captains wife at work asked if I wanted to buy their 2 tickets at a discounted price. I couldn't pass it up and said yes!!

There was a 2 hour time limit to meet whoever you could depending on lines for each player.
I started with hottie Matt Frattin, where we played an intense game of air hockey and was interviewed by a news crew. (!!!)

Then hit another player before making my way to Brown, my absolute favorite player. An hour later, I finally met my man and had him sign my jersey.

While in line for him, they were already shutting down the other lines for players. My heart dropped. I had my husbands jersey and a shirt for my Captain that both wanted an autograph. I bee lined it for Slava Voynov and sweet talked my way in line.

Then ducked over to Tyler Toffoli, another favorite.

Then ran to Jeff Carter (he's so hot)

and lastly, begged to get the Coach's autograph for my Captain. Score!
I got soooooo freaking lucky and I couldn't have been happier!!
Already counting down for next year where I will be paying VIP for more time with the boys :)

Outdoor Fun

On Saturday night we were invited to the outdoor game at Dodger Stadium to see our beloved King's play. I got more excited as the day went on and had such a great time despite the final score. The weather was awesome, I think it was even warmer than being inside Staples center. To show how great our weather was they had people playing volleyball in the outfield before and during the periods.
This was the view going into the game, straight stunning.
Hoping to get this one on a canvas.

KISS
Even made it on the news...

One day closer to the weekend!

Spa Day

Spa days are going to be my new thing! Well, every few months anyways!! I have a stressful job (911 dispatcher) and who doesn't have other worries so I need massages on a monthly basis.  I normally hit the Massage Place since its affordable, usually around $55 with tip and it's just convenient.

I was scanning Travel Zoo and came across a great deal for one of the nicest Hotel and Spa's in Santa Barbara. It was $120 for an hour massage, access to the entire spa and a glass of bubbly. Yes please!

Headed north with 2 coworkers, stopped for an amazing breakfast with mimosas, and hit the spa.
Massages, time by the pool, a dip in the hot tub, and a 4 day weekend? Amazing.

Just found another great spa deal on Group On, gonna save it for my 30th!
