Finally visited the beach!

Sad that I live about 10 minutes from the beach and its been over a year since I went! We have had lovely warm weather here in So Cal, so we ventured to the pier for lunch with our new neighbor friends on Sunday.

Home Sick

I was excited to blog about my weekend, but I am not feeling so hot. I have been fighting anemia for the past 6 months or so, and this morning it got the best of me. 

I am home watching the finale of Kim&Kourtney take NY. I seriously love Scott and Kourtney, but Kim drives me nuts!! 

I found this recipe on Pinterest and made it for dinner on Friday. It wasn't anything AMAZING, but it was good... a nice change from what we normally make.

One day....

After working 5 days in a row, which is not normal for my job, plus I did 14.5 hours Saturday and 16.5 Sunday... I finally had yesterday off. I tried to make it as enjoyable as possible and even laid down in the afternoon. To say I am burnt out is SO TRUE. I am back for two days and then off for my 3 day weekend.

With all the working, there isn't much exciting going on. Yesterday I worked out with my sis, got a pedicure with a new friend, visited another friend and her baby, had dinner with some other friends, and hit Target :)

Finally watched the Bachelor yesterday, what a mess. I really like Kacie B. but she was starting to break down and get whiney. Poor girl. And the obvious evil Courtney... can't believe he gave her that rose.

Work it Out...then eat a donut

I have a LOVE/HATE relationshp with working out.

But I LOVE buying work out clothes.

Fiance bought me two VS pants for Xmas, and I bought myself another pair last week.

I have been going to an all girls studio where we SWEAT it out for an hour doing various excercises. It really is the best hour of my days sometimes. I feel I have gained muscle and become stronger these past few months.

I came into work today at 5am! ewww! and its rainy outside and my boys were sound asleep :(

What I'm loving Wednesday... new purchases

After working 16.5 hours yesterday, I thought I deserved to do a little shopping today!

First stop, Marshall's...

My goddaughter is turning one next month so I got her a birthday shirt and bib

Next stop, The Rack... shoes for the birthday girl

And gym shoes for me!

Can it be March already??

Not only is March my birthday month, I am finally going to be reunited with my Bestie who lives in Indiana! Thanks to Groupon, there is a fabulous deal for 2 nights at the Palms hotel for about $200!!

It has been almost two years since we've seen each other, I am already on cloud 9 thinking about it!!

We met while I worked at a tanning salon, and we were all instant friends!

While I am sure most of you are off today, I am at work, but not complaining because I am getting double time and a half pay. 

I had a pretty good weekend relaxing and spending time with KT. I also went and bought my wedding dress!! I saved $200 on the dress which was a nice bonus.

We went to the mall where I got more workout pants and a new tank.

Last night we had dinner with some friends that moved to North Carolina about 6 months ago, silly me didn't take any pictures... except of my outfit :)

Up, Up, and Away!

I had the best day off yesterday!!

I had made reservations to take my dad on a helicopter ride for his birthday. I feel so blessed that I am in the position to do that for him!

It was a gorgeous day, clear with blue skies.
