Pickin Pumpkins

Yesterday my poor dad had another foot surgery! I left work early to drop in on him and bring him my ipad so he would have some entertainment while laying on the couch for the new few days. I really hope this surgery is it and stops feeling so much pain.

Last night we hit up the Pumpkin Patch with Megan & Trevor and sadly it wasn't all that great. All the pumpkins were the same small size and wasn't much to choose from. But we each found one and headed home to carve. I will post pictures tomorrow of the finished product.

Thankfully I am off early again today, gotta make cupcakes, check on my dad, and go to Costco because tonight we are having our Halloween party!! I am so excited to see everyone dressed up! I really hope we have a house next year because fitting everyone in a apartment kinda sucks!!

Shuffle Board

Sunday night we met some friends at a bar to celebrate our friend Will's birthday and we learned how to play shuffle board. It was so much fun! I won all three games and want to play some more!

Last night we just stayed home and hung with Frappy. Here are my boys this morning...

Wishing and Hoping

Lately I've been thinking a lot about the circle of life, and frankly I don't like it. I already lost my mom, by NO means am I ready to lose anyone else. Frappy is my world and some think I'm crazy, but I just adore him. I really feel like he was meant to be mine. Right now I am just watching him nap wondering how long I will be blessed with him. We went to the vet yesterday and she pretty much said that once seizures start to get more severe, we gotta get him on more medicine. Which we started yesterday. He hadn't had a blood test for years so I agreed to do one, not knowing it was gonna cost $146!! Out the door I paid $252!! I cried all the way home :p Definitely a hot mess. I slept awful last night thinking about him and listening to him breathe/snore. I'm so stressed I can't even nap. I sure hope this medicine works and keeps my boy around. Thanks for your sweet comments, it feels good to get this journaled.

Scare #2

Frappy had another severe seizure on Wednesday night, I thought I had lost him. We are going to the vet tomorrow to see what can be done, maybe a change in medicine needs to happen. That's 2 seizures in less than a month and severe ones at that. Hoping we get this figured out and get my Frap better.

Tonight we are going to lay low and catch up on our shows, I think the bf is getting sick...

Tomorrow we have a reception to attend for the friends that got married last month in Hawaii... not sure what they have planned other than friends/family gathering at their house...

My bf loves me!

Whenever the bf has a wedding, he takes both laptops with him in case one computer has a problem, he could just use the other. Even though that has never happened, he is prepared :) But that leaves me without a computer and sometimes I get bored and wish I had an Ipad... So the other night we went and he bought one for us! I haven't really had much time to play with it but I know it will be super useful when I want to do my blogging :)

For some reason it looks huge here and I am half awake in this picture as it was 730am.

Horror Night

Friday night after work we drove up to Universal Studios and went to Halloween Horror Night and it was so much fun!! The park went ALL out with SO many people dressed up and the mazes were great. Yes there was a lot of people but thankfully they only sell so many tickets and then they hit capacity. Since most of the attraction is walking thru mazes and getting scared, the lines are constantly moving. There were only 5 rides open but we went on all of them with minimal wait. Like 5 minutes! The Simpson's ride was way cooler than I thought it was going to be! There was a tram that took us to Chucky's Maze and that was pretty cool except we had to walk up a mountain and I felt like I was hiking! We had a great time though!!
