Weekend with the Family

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend! Here's to a quick week!!

I spent the weekend mostly with my family, my sister and the kids were in town visiting. Saturday I had a little alone time with my sister and we hit up Party City (I needed a bachelorette sash for a friends dinner this coming weekend) TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, and Marshall's, she was looking foward to shopping since she was kid free and she didn't find anything to buy! I found some Juicy pants at Marshall's for $40. I had bought the matching jacket there a few months back so I am happy I found the bottoms! We later went to Babies R Us with the kids and I got a few cute pictures...

Sunday was a really low key day, we had lunch at Chipotle, then napped, I watched the Red Carpet of the Emmys, then we went and had Sushi and watched Big Brother before bed.

Score! Score! Score!

I am so excited about a few things!! I had wanted to buy a certain dress for my niece from Target but had a hard time dishing out $13 dollars for it... and when I went the other night I found it on sale for $9! Here is a picture of it...

I also found her this adorable shirt for $5

They are both in size 12 months and she turns 1 next month! Cant wait to see her face! I am also excited because they are coming down to visit this weekend! As in tomorrow!! I miss those kids so much!!

I was at the mall last night having dinner at cheesecake Factory and I stopped by VS on the way out and saw this bathing suit top on sale for $9.99! Had to have it!

And I just found out I won a giveaway over at Allison's blog! Ill have a new lunch bag soon!!

I can't wait to have my first giveaway! If you aren't following me maybe you should start :)

Tonight on Big Brother is double eviction night! I know some of you like that show with me! I am pulling for Britney to win, and if not her, ill go for Brendon even though he is annoying Rachel whipped! He at least has been fighting to stay in the house.

Touching Story...

Just wanted to share this blog with you girls... Ben and Katie

They were in a car accident almost a year ago and Ben wasn't as lucky with his injuries and is still in a hospital type setting. Katie AMAZES me!! But at the same time, I hope any wife would be there for their husband no matter what happened! You never know when life will change and it can in just an instant. I know they could still use the prayers so please stop over there and see their story.

Orange things and Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a good weekend!! Amazing how fast they go by right?? Friday night we had a fun double date, dinner was yummy and the company was even better. We saw 'The Other Guys' and that wasn't so good... it was hardly funny and a waste of time to me...

Saturday I had lunch with the boy before he had to leave for his wedding. I then stopped by my dads to say hi and pick up Frappy and was so excited to see an orange package arrived for me! Sure enough, everything KS sent was something orange! This totally made my day and everything she sent was sooo great!

I can't wait to do a fun giveaway like this!!!

Saturday afternoon I met my friend Andrea at the movies to see Eat Pray Love. It was really good. I know most people read the book already but I didn't and now I want to. I would def recommend the movie. Afterwards we had dinner and caught up since she just returned from Cabo.

Sunday, the boy and I went to Nordstrom Rack and I only found one thing. I probably could have found more but I was being picky. We then took a two hour nap and then I went and saw Frappy. Last night we had dinner with another couple and called it a night. I missed Big Brother because Tivo was all messed up. Grrr.

Double Date Night!

Its Friday!! Woohoo!!! One more hour until I am out of work!! I am completely exhausted because Frappy hasn't been feeling to well and been up almost every night this week with him. Tonight we are going to dinner at Woodranch with our friends that just got married a few weeks ago, have any of you girls been to Woodranch before? My mouth is watering just thinking about the rolls they serve with dinner.

After dinner we are going to see "The Other Guys"

Hopefully I don't fall asleep!! I am sipping my caramel macchiato right now hoping for fuel :)

Tomorrow I heard Macy's is having a one day shoe sale so I'm going to hit that up when they open. I would also love to lay out by the pool if the sun corporates :) In the evening I am going to see Eat Pray Love with Andrea. I haven't read the book but that might be a good thing since books are usually better.

Sunday I would love to go for a hike and then just relax. In the evening we are having another double date at a Mexican restaurant. Should be a good weekend!!

P.S. I am always wanting to take pictures but none of my friends know I have this blog so I try not to come across all crazy with always wanting pictures lol...

We went to a small town one day called Bisbee... its a very old town. I don't know that I would survive if I lived there.... very very far away from things I love. Including Target, the mall, movie theater, etc. All over this town were very tall stairs...

Randomness :)

I was MIA this weekend because we were out in AZ visiting the boys grandparents. We left Thursday night around 9pm and didn't get there until 8am! Eww!! I usually never drive more than the first two hours because driving puts me to sleep but somehow I drove from 2am-430am and then again around 6am. We had a really good weekend and ill post some pictures tomorrow as I didn't have time to upload pictures.

I don't have anything too exciting planned this week... maybe a taco night on Wednesday with some close friends. My boy makes some pretty tasty tacos and our friends have been bugging :)

Night at the Fair

Last night we went to the fair that is currently in town. We met up with Brooke and Brian and had a fun few hours. We ate, ate, and ate some more. My favorite are these little fresh warm donuts that are made while you order. Soooo yummy! I felt to weird taking my camera out lol. But they are little warm sugary/cinnamon goodness. I never got the funnel cake I wanted as I was freezing and full but they sure looked good. I also went on two rides, fun but sketchy!!

I am also so excited because there are currently three different agencies testing for the 911 dispatcher job in my area so I'm really hoping one of these work out for me. It would be a dream come true!!

Tonight I will be watching Big Brother and going to bed early!! I am still exhausted from staying up too late this week. Tomorrow night we are off to AZ for the weekend!!  

Bombshell

Have any of you girls tried the bombshell bra at VS?? Holy smokes! Padding for days!! I was just wishing I had bigger boobs and then I tried this bra on and whoa nelly! Now I think mine are just fine. I am still debating on buying the bra for certain occasions but still not sure... Tried it on Saturday and Sunday but still wasn't convinced I needed wanted it.

My weekend was good... really low key. Friday night KT and I rented The Green Zone with Matt Damon. It was an okay movie... Saturday we had lunch, then I hit the mall with a friend. Sunday we went to lunch, then to a friends housewarming party. They had really yummy food and lots of cocktails to choose from. Did any of you watch The Bunny House on E! last night? And tonight starts The Bachelor Pad... not sure how much I will like this show but I will try it...

Tomorrow after work we are going to the Fair in my town. Soooo excited!! I cannot wait for a funnel cake!! I don't really do the rides anymore.... tooo sketchy for me.... But I love to walk around and look in all the buildings and eat bad food :)

Anxious!

So I took that test yesterday for the dispatcher position.... found out there are 300 testing and they are hiring 6. I have been thru this process before and a lot of people end up dropping out, disqualifying, etc. The woman said if we get an email in the next few days than we didn't pass... I think they will wait until the majority of people are done taking it (over the next 2-3 weeks) and then the people with the highest scores will go on to interview step. I am so praying that this is the next step for me. I am over my current job and I think I would be really good at being a dispatcher. But I try and remember it will work out the way its supposed to. The test is really hard to tell how I did... there were 15 sections so obviously I thought some were better than others... I have been checking my email like crazy even though I don't think she would have emailed that fast. I think people that scored a 70-75 and below are automatically out and those are the peeps that will be getting the email. I took it a year ago and scored a 90 so I'm hoping I'm somewhere in the same ballpark. We will see...

Tonight I am meeting that friend I wrote about a few days ago. I definitely plan on telling her how hurt I am that she didn't come to me to tell me she is now friends with my ex bff. And I'm hoping she will see my side of things. I hate finding things out on facebook. I will get to see her engagement ring and new boobs too lol.

Well thank gosh tomorrow is finally Friday! I'm drinking a strawberry margarita tonight for sure!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Its a busy Tuesday here at the office and thankfully its almost lunch time. I can never remember what I did on the weekends lol... but ill try and recap... Friday I stayed in with Frap since Kyle had a wedding, he was at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara (soooo nice!) On Saturday I met Andrea for a coffee date since she is off to Cabo for 16 days! So jealous!! I will miss her though!  That night Kyle and I went to a friends house for a game night. We played catch phrase and it was so fun! Any of you girls have it? Sunday we lounged around, he went on a motorcycle ride with his friends and I caught up on shows. We spent some money at traders joes and got a new comforter/sheets at TJMaxx for $100.

On to the Bachelorette! Who watched??!! I was soooooo sad for Chris. My heart seriously hurt. I know its TV and all but I still could feel his pain. I knew she was going to end up with Roberto, the passion was way more obvious. I really hope they make Chris the next Bachelor. I was so happy to see a rainbow in the sky for him. Such an amazing moment letting him know his mom was right there.

Tonight we are off to dinner with Kyles grandpa who is in town just for the night. Tomorrow I am testing with the police department for a 911 dispatcher job. This is something that I have wanted for a long long time. We will see how it plays out...
