Giving back...

My company adopted a family for Christmas and I really wanted to contribute. The little girl asked for a barbie and I couldn't wait to get her one. I headed to Target last night and it seemed like they were low on Barbies! I found one I liked and I wrapped it and then realized I forgot to take a picture.
Here is what she really looked like

It feels really good to be a part of something like this at Christmas time. I am so glad I can make someone's day a little brighter.

I "adopted" a little girl last year and had the hardest time finding a cute Barbie for her. They all either looked like strippers or were those Bratz dolls. Ew. This Barbie is so cute and that is so great that your company adopts a family for Christmas!

We picked a little boy's name off of a Christmas tree with "gift ornaments" at our grocery store. Feels good to know that the child will have something to open at Christmas!

How sweet! That Barbie is adorable. Some of my favorite memories from Christmas are of doorbell ditching gifts to families in need on Christmas eve. I really think that the spirit of giving is one of the best things about the holidays!
